Site content organization

Yesterday I finally started rebuilding this site. So far I'm on way to make a new theme, to write the software new and, what I think the most important thing, to split the personal from the general purpose part. Although I don't think it will attract much attention, the idea is the following:

• All pages that talk about me personally, and are just so-called promo, are going left. This includes parts about:
  • My musical works
  • Descriptions of my projects
  • This blog
• All pages that offer material that can be used, such as freeware or conversation mediums is going right. For now, this includes:
  • Link to the forum
  • Page about Wikipedia tools I've been working recently on

So much for this time. The point I wanted to put in the fist plane is, that sites which mix these two categories of pages should at least try to separate them. I think this is a neat way to offer visitors a clear choice 'on which side' they want to turn.

Forum upgraded to phpBB3

Today I upgraded the forum from phpBB2 to phpBB3. The whole process went much easier than I thought. Here you can see log of what I've done:

New chapter: Musical Works

I just released a new chapter about my musical works to the public. I should post some ogg samples during this week. Be patient about it, cheers. : ) The link is:

New site design

Today I updated design of the site. Some pages still have the same look, but soon they will be integrated with the new look of the site index. Just wait and observe what I’ll do around. The place will have whole new look, but not from outside only. I have also modified its source code to provide a better structured basis for further expansion.

WordPress replaced with a Wiki

I just replaced the site blog with wiki section. Most of the articles from the blog were imported here and corresponding redirects for the old blog articles were made to the new wiki articles. Furthermore, I hope to be able to stay on the well known wiki interface.
